In BAMP, a Role defines what a User can see and do within the Mobile Application. Each Role controls permissions like managing Teams, handling Ambassador data, sending Requests, working with Contracts, and accessing Finance or Support modules. Assigning the right Role ensures users operate within their business responsibilities securely and efficiently.

Roles are critical because they:

  • Protect sensitive Ambassador and contract data.
  • Assign the right level of control based on job functions.
  • Streamline operations by giving users only the tools they need.
  • Prevent accidental data changes or unauthorized access. This structured access ensures business continuity, operational clarity, and compliance with internal processes.

A single User can have multiple Roles assigned at the same time. This allows flexible permission management when employees have overlapping or evolving responsibilities.

There is no limit on the number of Users who can share the same Role.
Many Users can hold the same Role simultaneously, helping companies easily scale teams and maintain uniform access control across departments.

No, companies cannot customize or create new Roles directly. BAMP provides 8 default Roles that are standardized and cannot be edited, deleted, or duplicated by Organization Admins. If a company needs special permissions outside the default options, they must request custom configuration from the BAMP Global Admin Team.

BAMP offers only default Roles to:

  • Maintain consistent permission structures across all organizations.
  • Ensure data security and minimize risks of unauthorized access.
  • Simplify system management and avoid role misconfigurations that could disrupt business operations.

If an employee retires, the Organization Admin should:

  • Disable the User’s account instead of deleting it.
  • Update the email address if needed to reassign responsibilities without losing historical data. This ensures that all past work, team assignments, Ambassador records, and system activity remain intact and fully traceable for the organization.

Assigning Roles carefully protects Ambassador privacy by:

  • Restricting sensitive data access (like contracts, health, travel, finance) only to authorized Users.
  • Ensuring that users with limited Roles (e.g., Marketing Media, Executive Team) have view-only access where appropriate.
  • Preventing unauthorized edits, deletions, or data exposure.

Proper Role management helps companies comply with data protection policies while allowing efficient Ambassador operations.
